Caren Cummings Music Director

Caren and her husband Dave have served the Lord together in various ministries for 32 years.  In 1994, the Cummings moved to Richmond and joined Immanuel Baptist Church.  Caren is a graduate of Bob Jones University with a degree in music education.  She has been an active member of the adult choir, a soloist, and has directed the children’s music ministry.  In 2009, Caren began serving as the interim music director and in August of 2011 became permanent.

She served on the Women’s Ministry leadership team for 10 years, and was the coordinator from 2009 – 2011.  She is a speaker for women’s retreats and has taught Sunday school, Precept Bible studies, and other women’s Bible studies in several churches over the years.  She and Dave teach Growing Kids God’s Way classes, and have two grown children.
