"Women of Immanuel"...does not refer only to a group of women in a particular place. It also describes the unique position of possession of those who have, by faith, put their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior. We belong to Him. He is Immanuel – God with us! We have been called to salvation and sanctification, and we have the promised Holy Spirit living within us to empower us to fulfill that purpose to which we have been called – to become like Christ.

In John 17, Jesus prays for His disciples ,women and men, “And this is eternal life, that they know You the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” It is the desire of our Creator and Redeemer that we know Him – not only for salvation for some time in the future, but as the One who satisfies our souls today with the abundant life that only He can give.

This knowledge is to be shared across age boundaries: "One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts” Psalm 145:4. Titus 2:3-5, speaking specifically to women, also encourages and admonishes us to intergenerational relationships as we learn and grow together.

It is our desire to meet the particular spiritual, emotional, and practical needs of all women of Immanuel by providing Biblical instruction and encouragement, developing and nurturing deeper friendships, and equipping for service.

Our prayer for you, Women of Immanuel, is from Colossians 1:9-10, that “you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.”
